Down on the Sussex coast of England you’ll find the Ginger Pig pub. Unlike most other British seaside pubs, this one has two of its own barrels. One of which was given to the Ginger Pig by Buffalo Trace. They use their bourbon for a few different cocktails, but best is, of course, the Old Fashioned.
It takes a little less than 15 minutes to go from barrel to the glass. They dilute the brown sugar, infuse the orange peel and even account for the dilution of the ice.
