With next month’s release of Spectre, his third James Bond film, Daniel Craig will also be marking a full decade of playing the world’s most famous spy. Many actors are capable of turning themselves in to characters for a film, but Daniel Craig seemingly considers playing James Bond as a mantle to carry. Throughout the lengthy build campaign and through recent controversy Craig has maintained a dignified composure. He has calmly fended off media speculation about being replaced and followed through the film’s classic styling, in to the real world.
Regardless of Spectre’s critical reception or indeed how many more times we will see Daniel Craig as James Bond, it’s clear that he can be considered a thoroughly modern gentleman.
