The Butcher’s Daughter is a new cafe and “vegetable slaughter house” located close to New York’s Bowery. The food is 100% vegetarian and very health focussed. Despite the lack of meat the chefs chop, fillet and carve fresh ingredients into dishes and press them into juices. The venue is small and it’s hard to get a seat, but if you can, it makes for an ideal brunch location.
The avocado toast and “Vampire slayer elixir” are recommended, but take a mint for afterwards.
